Ted has produced, played guitar, arranged, recorded, & toured with major artists Whitney Houston, Harry Belafonte, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross, Burt Bacharach, Ronald Isley, Alessandra Rosaldo, The Manhattans, Blush, Ringo, Joe Cocker, Chicago, rapper Young M.C., Jonathan Richman, Willie Colon & Hector Lavoe, Imelda Papin, Dr. Buzzard's Savannah Band, & Engelbert Humperdink. All this has made Ted proficient in a variety of musical styles - R&B, Rock, Hip-Hop, Soul, Classical, Pop, Latin, Rap, Country, World, etc. Originally from New York, he now lives in L.A.
Ted has done extensive work in TV & Movies. He arranged, programmed, & recorded three songs in the Adam Sandler movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry", ft. Lance Bass of *NSYNC. Ted produced the song "Before We Say Goodbye" for MTV's "2gether", produced, played, & composed the score for the ABC-TV "World Stunt Awards", co-wrote the main theme & cues for Showtime's "Full Frontal Comedy" (winner of Cable ACE award for Best Stand Up Comedy), co-produced two songs in the Ellen Burstyn film "Walking Across Egypt", and produced the title song for Jean-Claude Van Damme's film "Desert Heat". Ted has conducted, played guitar, and arranged music for NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, and other networks. He has done jingles for McDonald's, Appleby's, Burger King, Korean Airlines, Perrier, & Coca-Cola.
Ted is a Pro endorser/consultant featured in ads by major companies including Celemony, Sony Digital, Trident Speakers, Steinberg, Dean Markley Strings, PSP, Brauner-Sontronics-ADK-Studio Projects-Pearlman mics, Native Instruments, LinPlug, ikMultimedia, Rob Papen, X-Hun Audio, Frontier, Audio Technica, & Full Compass Audio, among many others. He frequently writes for music magazines including "Computer Music" and was the subject of the first podcast by "Electronic Musician". Ted won a Grammy for his work on "At This Time" by Burt Bacharach, and co-produced a song with Bacharach on Ronald Isley's CD "Here I Am". On "New Music From An Old Friend", Ted played the guitar solo on Brian Wilson's "What Love Can Do" and co-produced "Still Remember" with Burt Bacharach. He mixed "The 5 Browns" duet w/Dean Martin of "Everybody Loves Somebody" (which went to #1 TWICE in Billboard). Ted is currently in production with actress/singer Gloria Loring (Robin Thicke's mom) on her new CD, and also working on a new CD for music icon (& Blues Brothers agent Morty Slime) Steve Lawrence with guests including country music superstars Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood.
